2017: Played 26 games, making 16 starts... Collected 12 hits, of which one was a double... Accumulated a batting average of .200, a slugging percentage of .217 and an on-base percentage of .360... Recorded 13 runs scored... Registered a season-high of two hits against Lynn (Mar. 25)... Gathered a season-high of two runs scored against Albany State (Feb. 24).

2016: Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference...appeared in 43 games, registering 37 starts as a sophomore...batted .331 with one home run, 13 RBIs and 32 runs scored...converted 8-of-11 stolen base attempts...totaled 10 multi-hit contests...ranked fifth in the SSC in sacrifice bunts (8)...notched first career home run in series opener against Lynn (3/24)...fell a home run shy of the cycle in a 3-for-3 performance versus Bloomfield (3/9)...selected to play in the summer for the Acadiana Cane Cutters of the Texas Collegiate League.

2015: In 26 appearances, made 19 starts as a freshman...batted .295 with 10 RBIs and 22 runs scored...swiped five stolen bases in six attempts...recorded a .378 on-base percentage...went 2-for-4 with four RBIs and two runs scored in his FIT debut at Benedict (2/7).

High School: Attended and played baseball at Lake Mary High School in Lake Mary, Fla…was the team Academic Player of the Year in 2014.

Club: Played for one year with CFBL in Sanford, Fla.

Personal: Son of Luis Capella and Mayra Valle…has two sisters, Shannon and Edna…chose Florida Tech for the baseball program and the great education…plans to pursue a degree in construction management.
