Florida Tech Panthers

2010: Named to Athletic Director’s Honor Roll…started 11 games on the mound…went 5-3 with a 5.5 ERA…threw one complete game…allowed only 43 runs (38 earned) in 61.2 innings pitched…had the third highest number of strikeouts on the team (48). 

2009: Started seven games and appeared in 17…posted a 4-3 record with a 4.69 ERA and 46 strikeouts…pitched one complete game shutout…also aided a teammate in throwing a shutout…allowed 26 runs (25 earned) on 56 hits in 48 innings pitched…walked 22 batters.

Florida Tech: Was third on the Panther pitching staff with a 2.16 ERA in 2008 with a 1-0 record in 13 relief appearances... combined for three shutouts and notched two saves in his rookie campaign, throwing for 16.2 innings... allowed just four earned runs, while walking seven and striking out 16.

High School: Graduated from Winter Park High School, home of the Wildcats... he also played club ball for the Orlando Scorpions.

Personal: Randall was born on May 18, 1989 and is the son of Rick Thompson... he is a business major and chose to attend Florida Tech because of its good location and to get a good education... in the future he wants to own his own business and play professional baseball.
