2015: NCBWA All-South Region Honorable Mention...First Team All-SSC...Named SSC Player of the Week on March 23...started all 51 games...recorded a .360 batting average with seven home runs, 42 RBIs and 38 runs scored...finished second on the team with a .571 slugging percentage...notched 17 multi-hit games...went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and two RBIs at Nova Southeastern (4/10).

Sterling College: Played one season with the Warriors in Sterling, Kan…named an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American…hit .441 with 20 doubles, eight home runs, and tallied 42 RBIs…played three different positions in the infield and recorded a fielding percentage of .950, and helped turn 22 double plays…also named KCAC First Team All-Conference.

Riverside CC: Played two seasons for the Tigers in Riverside, Calif…hit .292 in 33 games as a freshman…named to Orange Empire All-Conference Second Team as sophomore…hit with a .328 average in 39 games as a sophomore…hit one home run to go with 22 RBIs…scored 20 runs to go with five stolen bases.

High School: Attended Canyon Springs High School in Moreno Valley, Calif…earned six letters playing baseball and football…was a 2,000 yard passer with the football team…hit with a .400 batting average for three years on the baseball diamond…named MVP of both teams…named All-League in baseball.

Personal: Son of Ricardo and Mara Rodriguez…has one sister, Mara E., and two brothers, Eduardo and Alexandro. Sister played softball in college…chose Florida Tech for the baseball program…admires his father for being selfless and a hard worker…pursuing a degree in psychology, and has the post-graduation goal of being a sports psychologist.
