High School: Attended Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Fla…played three years of varsity baseball for the Lightning…batted .402 with 39 hits, eight doubles, five triples, three home runs, 32 RBIs and 41 runs scored…also drew 24 walks, stole 21 bases and posted an on-base percentage of .520…earned a scholar-athlete award and named offensive player of the year in 2008…played summer ball for the 18U SF Clippers.

Personal: Son of Hal and Donna Coffman…chose Florida Tech for the opportunity to play collegiate baseball and get a great education…enjoys working out and playing baseball…favorite sport is baseball and favorite athlete is Derek Jeter…admires his father because he has always been there for him and he taught him everything he needs to know about being a respectful adult…favorite quote is “Ability is what you’re capable of doing.  Motivation determines what you do.  Attitude determines how well you do it,” said by Lou Holtz…favorite movies are “Troy,” “Hangover” and “Superbad”…enjoys listening to all kinds of music.
