Alex Trepper joined Florida Tech in June 2025. In his role, Trepper serves as the primary contact for Florida Tech's men's basketball, baseball, and volleyball.
Prior to Florida Tech, he served as the sports information contact for men’s and women’s basketball, softball, and tennis at the University of Tampa. His responsibilities included managing game day operations, live statistics, broadcast teams, and digital content across social media platforms.
Trepper served as Assistant Sports Information Director at Greensboro College from January 2023-May 2024, covering a broad range of sports including football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and baseball. He was a regular play-by-play voice for live streams and developed engaging social media content, interviews, and feature stories for the athletics website.
A former NCAA Division III baseball player and Academic All-American, Trepper earned his Bachelor of Arts in English Communication and History with a minor in Sports Communication from Greensboro College. He also held leadership roles in student government and served as SAAC Vice President.
