Florida Tech Panthers

2010: Medical redshirt…missed entire season due to Tommy John Surgery.  

2009: Appeared out of the bullpen a team-high 21 times…went 4-1 on the year with a 3.92 ERA…gave up 40 hits, 20 runs (17 earned) and walked 19 batters in 39 innings pitched…struck out 24 and limited opponents to a .282 batting average.

Florida Tech: Posted a 2.03 ERA in eight appearances as a freshman, issuing eight Ks, while only allowing three earned runs... picked up his lone win of the year against UMass-Lowell on March 19.

High School: Graduated from Jupiter Christian School, home of the Eagles...earned three varsity letters and played football as well in high school… he totaled 227 career strikeouts, had a 0.97 ERA his senior year and had a 31-inning scoreless streak in 2006… he was named all-county in 2005 and 2006… finished second on the team in strikeouts as a senior… played club ball for the Florida Stars and made the National Grand Slam All-Tournament team in 2006.

Personal: Tyler was born on February 8, 1989... he is majoring in forensic psychology and decided to come to Florida Tech for the great athletic competition... his goals for the future are to play some professional baseball and to be a criminal profiler.
