2017: Received FIT Senior Award... Nominated SSC Pitcher of the Week, after he allotted solely one run and struck out four in seven innings pitched in Game 2 of the series sweep against Lynn (Mar. 27)... Selected to All-SSC Second Team... Accumulated 63 strikeouts and 31 walks in 72 innings pitched, for a seasonal ERA of 4.75... Started all the 14 games played and registered a record of 6-4... Tallied a season-high of 10 strikeouts against Quincy (Feb. 26).
2016: Made 14 starts on the mound as a junior...compiled a record of 4-5 with a 5.16 earned run average...tallied 55 strikeouts in 66.1 innings pitched...combined for two shutouts...named Sunshine State Conference Pitcher of the Week (3/7)...posted back-to-back scoreless efforts versus Albany State (2/27) and Assumption (3/5)...fanned seven batters in final start of season against Eckerd (5/14)...placed on FIT Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
2015 (Florida): Earned a spot on the Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll...made five relief appearances for the Gators…over two innings, the left-hander totaled four strikeouts, issued two walks, yielded two runs (one earned) and gave up one hit…struck out the lone batter he faced in the Gators’ 6-2 win over Stony Brook that completed a weekend sweep…tied career high with an inning of work in the season opener against Rhode Island.
2014 (Florida): Named to the Southeastern Conference First-Year Academic Honor Roll…did not allow any hits or runs in his six appearances covering 3.1 innings…registered three strikeouts and permitted one walk…retired the only batter he faced in the SEC Tournament final against No. 8 LSU…saw first collegiate action in the second meeting with No. 17 Miami (Fla.) and collected his first career strikeout.
High School: Played for head coach Bob Shepard at Fletcher High School…ranked as the No. 19 left-hander in the state of Florida in the Class of 2013 Final Rankings from Perfect Game…named to Rawlings/Perfect Game Preseason Florida All-Region Honorable Mention Team prior to his senior year…collected all-state recognition in Class 8A and was named first-team All-First Coast after going 8-0 with a 2.22 earned run average…registered 88 strikeouts in 63 innings for the Senators, who advanced to the regional semifinals and finished with a record of 25-5…fired a two-hit shutout with 14 strikeouts against Ocala Forest in the Class 7A regional quarterfinals…belted a three-run homer against Englewood in a District 2-7A semifinal matchup and had a team-leading .375 batting average…earned second-team All-First Coast recognition as a junior at the utility spot by hitting .444 with 30 RBI, 16 runs, nine doubles and eight stolen bases.
