Biography

2012-13: Named to All-Sunshine State Conference Newcomer Team…started in 13 of 19 games during his junior season…claimed a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds against Florida Southern (1/26)…scored a season-high 33 points and went 7-for-8 beyond the three-point line while playing in 38 minutes against Tampa (1/30)…ranked fourth in scoring average at 12.4 ppg, third in steals at 1.8 per game and fourth in free-throw shooting percentage at 73.4 percent.

2010-11 (Henry Ford CC): Named NJCAA All-America First Team and one of 10 players selected to the State Farm NABC NJCAA Division I All-America Team…also selected NJCAA Region XII and Michigan Community College Athletic Association Player of the Year…averaged 14.5 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.9 steals per game.

2009-10 (Henry Ford CC): Averaged 10.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game…shot 50 percent from the field and 37 percent from the three point line.

2008-09 (Toledo): Started first two games of the season at Florida and Xavier before being sidelined remainder of season due to injury…scored first two points of collegiate career against Xavier and collected one rebound, one block and two steals in 23 minutes.

2007-08 (Toledo): Redshirt season.

High School: Attended Ypsilanti High School…averaged 14.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game as a senior...earned Detroit News All-Metro honors.

Personal: Grandson of Rebecca Tubbs and son of Barbara Scott…has five sisters, four of which are Shaquanda, Labresha, Antania and Raquel, and two brothers, Tony and A.J.…has one son, Terrance Tubbs Jr.…career goals are to earn his degree and play basketball professionally, so he can support his family…chose Florida Tech because he heard it’s a nice place to earn a college degree, and he loves the weather…admires his grandmother and mother because they raised him to be a respectable man and always put family first.
