2014: Appeared in all 12 games as a freshman… named team's Most Outstanding Player… record breaking debut season ended with the Westminster, Md. native earning All-SSC First Team and All-SSC Freshman Team honors… 22 goals and all-time single season school record 15 assists… 21 ground balls, four man-up goals (tied with Andrew Conley for most) and three caused turnovers… four goals, two assists, one caused turnover, one man-up goal and four ground balls in collegiate debut at Coker College (Feb. 17)… one goal and one assist at Belmont Abbey College (Feb. 19)… four goals - one man-up - one assist and two ground balls in home opener versus Wheeling Jesuit University (March 8)… followed with two goals and two assists against Catawba College (March 10), three goals and one assist versus Saint Leo University (March 14), three goals versus No. 7 University of Tampa (March 19) and four goals and two assists at Brevard College (March 22)… three assists at Rollins College (March 31)… 22 goals are tied for third most in a single season (Nick Wynne) and his 3.08 points per game are second most in a single season… tied for fourth all-time in school history in assists and tied for sixth all-time in goals.
High School: Earned nine letters as a member of the football, lacrosse and basketball teams… lacrosse team won the Maryland State Championships in 2013 and finished the season 19-0… national honor society.
Personal: Full name is Chris Nichols, Jr… son of Chris and Kim Nichols… has two older sisters, Amber and Lindsay and a younger brother, Matt… majoring in business… admires his cousin Jordan for his hard working and strong willed attitude… chose Florida Tech because it was a great school that offered an exceptional business program.
