Brad MacArthur was named head coach of the Florida Tech men’s lacrosse program in February 2022 and enters his fifth season leading the Panthers in 2026.

A USA Lacrosse certified head coach, MacArthur brings nearly 30 years of experience as both a coach and player at the collegiate, professional, and international levels. In his first four seasons at Florida Tech, he has guided the program to a 22–20 record while producing 15 All-Sunshine State Conference selections, five All-Region honorees, four All-Americans, and three USILA Scholar All-Americans.

In 2025, MacArthur led the Panthers to their sixth Sunshine State Conference Tournament appearance in program history. The team earned a ranked victory over No. 17 Colorado Mesa on a last-second goal, and four players received All-SSC recognition, including Jakob Terpak and Gavin Wessel on the Second Team and Steve Ulrichs and Garrett Gmeiner on the Third Team. Following the 2024 season, Joe Coveleski became the program’s first SSC Freshman of the Year.

MacArthur made an immediate impact in his first season, leading Florida Tech to a 10–6 record and a 5–2 mark in conference play. The Panthers defeated three ranked opponents, secured the No. 4 seed in the SSC Tournament, and saw six players earn All-SSC honors along with four All-South Region selections. Two players were also named USILA All-Americans.

Prior to Florida Tech, MacArthur spent eight years as General Manager and Head Coach of the Israeli Indoor National Team, where he led the program to a gold medal at the 2017 European Box Championships and top-five finishes at the World Indoor Championships. He compiled a 14–7 record in major international competitions and was named Israel Lacrosse Man of the Year in 2016 for his contributions to growing the sport. He also served in leadership roles for Israel’s field and Sixes national teams.

MacArthur’s coaching career includes extensive experience in Canadian lacrosse. He served as General Manager and Head Coach of the Brooklin Lacrosse Club in Major Series Lacrosse, earning Senior Coaching Staff of the Year honors in 2018, and was General Manager and Co-Coach of the Whitby Steelhawks, leading the team to a league championship in its inaugural season. He also had two successful stints as head coach of the Clarington Green Gaels, compiling a 150–52–1 record and leading the program to a Founder's Cup National Championship in 2002 along with multiple league and national finalist appearances. Additionally, he coached the Barrie Blizzard to a Canadian Lacrosse League championship in 2015, earning Coach of the Year honors.

As a player, MacArthur was a standout at St. Andrews Presbyterian College from 1995 to 1998, where he was a two-time All-Conference First Team selection, the 1997 conference Player of the Year, and a two-time USILA All-American. He was also named an Academic All-American in 1998. He was selected fifth overall in the 1998 National Lacrosse League Draft and went on to play seven professional seasons with the Rochester Knighthawks, Montreal Express, Calgary Roughnecks, and Toronto Rock, winning the NLL Champions Cup with Calgary in 2004. He also won the Mann Cup in 2000 with the Brooklin Redmen.
