Ted "Doc" Dockstader is a volunteer manager with the Florida Tech Men's Lacrosse team.

He graduated from Florida Tech in 1975 with a BS degree in Biological Sciences.

He was an ROTC cadet and upon graduation was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.  He served in the Army in progressive assignments and retired in 2000 as a lieutenant colonel.

Doc is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff Officers College and earned his Masters Degree through Webster University.  He graduated in 1998 with a MA degree in Computer Resources and Information Management.

Doc moved back to Florida in 2003.  For over 10 years he spent his summers at a Boy Scout camp in western NY (he is an Eagle Scout) as the Shooting Sports Director, teaching young boys how to shoot and be safe handling firearms.  One of the high school age staff members introduced him to Lacrosse.

Returning to Florida, he discovered that Florida Tech had started a team.  He met with Coach Penn and started attending practice.  He saw the team had a need, and the rest, as they say, is history.
