2016: Named to Athletic Director's Honor Roll...appeared in four games...recorded three ground balls.

2015: Appeared in three games…recorded one ground ball.

High School: Attended Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida… Earned letters all three seasons he played with the Dr. Phillips Panthers… Awarded All – District, All – Metro, and earned the title of the most goals by a midfielder… Competed in the FHSAA conference, scoring 70 career goals plus 30 career assists… Played on the District and Metro first place teams, who then went on to be the Regional runners-up.

Club: Played on the Lacrosse Club Orlando team for three years, winning the Orlando Open Championship.

Personal: Son of John and Ann Marie Gillen… chose Florida Tech because of the school’s atmosphere and the sense of community surrounding it… Post-graduation Jake wants to own his own business, or work with a professional sports team… He deeply admires his father because of his hard work ethic and dedication.
