2016: Named to Athletic Director's Honor Roll...started all 13 games...selected to All-SSC First Team...finished 6th in the SSC (2nd on team) with 17 caused turnovers to go along with 13 ground balls...recorded two ground balls and three caused turnovers vs. Young Harris (Feb. 5)...tallied two ground balls and two caused turnovers against Mars Hill (Feb. 28)...collected three caused turnovers and one ground ball vs. Lynn (Apr. 23).

2015: Named to All-SSC Second Team…appeared in 15 games, starting 11…recorded one assist, 28 groundballs and nine caused turnovers…tallied three groundballs and two caused turnovers in the 13-11 road win over Saint Leo (March 14)…recorded one assist and four groundballs in a 14-7 victory over MIT (March 23)…collected four groundballs and caused one turnover in a 12-6 win over Rollins in the SSC Semifinals (April 24).

2014: Appeared in three games, recording one ground ball in FIT's 16-5 win over Brevard College (March 22).

High School: Five letters in football and lacrosse for West Essex Regional High School in North Caldwell, N.J… graduated with a 3.5 GPA in 2012… 2011 New Jersey State Football Champions… 2012 second team all-conference in football.

Personal: Full name is Thomas Filipow… son of Richard and Janet Filipow... wants to begin a career in construction management after graduating… chose Florida Tech because of its excellent construction management program and its lacrosse program.
