Biography
Previous School: Attended Jacksonville University for one year…participated in rowing…earned dean’s list recognition…won men’s lightweight freshman four and men’s freshman eight at Florida Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship.
High School: Attended McFatter Technical High School in Davie, Fla…member of National Honor Society.
Club: Rowed for Miami Rowing Club for four years…placed third at regionals in men’s varsity eight and 16th overall at nationals in men’s varsity eight…team captain her senior year…awarded team spirit, determination and Oarsman of the Year awards.
Personal: Daughter of Paul and Megan Mellinger…both parents rowed and graduated from FIT…has one brother, Ryan, and two sisters, Katy and Abby…along with her parents, her Uncles Mark, Jimmy and Mike and Aunt Kathy all rowed at FIT…Uncles Patrick and Tommy rowed at Penn…after she graduates, she would like to own a business…chose Florida Tech for its academics, location and crew team.
