High School: Attended Pine View High School in Osprey, Florida.
Club: Rowed for Sarasota Crew in Osprey, Florida for five years…won multiple championships at Florida State and Southeast Regional Regattas…placed first in men’s youth four at Head of the Charles…captained team in 2014-15.
Personal: Son of Jonathan Spivey and Yoko Kita…has one sister, Olympia Spivey…chose Florida Tech for its extensive engineering programs and welcoming atmosphere of rowing team…after graduation, he’d like to go back to Sarasota and make a positive impact on his hometown…admires his teachers and coaches for all hard work and dedication they put forth to make a positive impact in lives of student-athletes.
