Conlan Birdsall joined Florida Tech in March 2024. In his role, Birdsall serves as the primary contact for Florida Tech's men's cross country and indoor and outdoor track, women's basketball, and softball.
Birdsall came to Florida Tech from Power Five Ole Miss, where he has served as a Graduate Assistant for the Athletic Communications Department since August 2022.
During his time at Ole Miss, Birdsall was the contact for soccer, rifle, women's tennis, and the secondary contact for men's basketball.
Birdsall's day-to-day tasks included producing post-game releases, compiling live statistics, aiding broadcast and media members, and promoting scholar-athletes on all social media platforms.
Prior to Ole Miss, Birdsall served as an Athletic Communications Intern at Washburn University from August 2021 to May 2022, where he produced graphics, media guides, and post-game releases, assisted in photography, and compiled statistics.
In addition, Birdsall was a play-by-play commentator for the Florida Collegiate Summer League in the summer of 2020. He broadcasted and recapped all 115 games.
Birdsall graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Florida in May 2021 and is set to complete his Master's of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications this May.
