2015: Named to the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll…appeared in 15 games, starting 14…compiled nine groundballs and six caused turnovers…recorded two groundballs and two caused turnovers in a 14-12 loss to No. 9 Mount Olive (March 2)...collected one groundball and two caused turnovers in the 11-8 win over Lynn (April 3).

2014: Appeared in all 12 games, making 12 starts… recorded 23 ground balls and eight caused turnovers… three ground balls and one forced turnover in 18-10 season opening win at Coker College (Feb. 17)… five ground balls and two caused turnovers at Queens University of Charlotte (March 1)… three ground balls in back-to-back games at Mount Olive University (March 23) and Rollins College (March 31)… 23 career forced turnovers tops the FIT career charts… started a school record 27 games and appeared in 39 games, tied for third most.

2013: Saw action in all 14 games, making 13 starts… recorded 29 ground balls, including a season-high four ground balls against Wingate, Lenoir-Rhyne and MIT… recorded nine caused turnovers.

2012: Saw action in 13 games, making one start… made first start against Rollins on Feb. 25… recorded 21 ground balls… picked up a season-high five ground balls against Lees-McRae on Feb. 17… caused six turnovers, including four against Lees-McRae on Feb. 17.

High School: Attended Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, Md… played lacrosse and football… forced 55 turnovers his senior season… had most ground balls in a season and most forced turnovers in a season… named All-Montgomery County Second Team and All-Division First Team in 2009… awarded All-Montgomery County Gazette Honorable Mention for Public and Private Schools, All-Montgomery County High School First Team and All-Division First Team in 2010… selected co-captain, All-Montgomery County Gazette Second Team for Public and Private Schools, All-Montgomery County High School Second Team, All-Division First Team and won QOHS Coaches Award "Unsung Hero” accolade in 2011… prior to season, he was a ESPN Rise Preseason Honorable Mention selection and after season, he participated in Montgomery County Senior All-Star Game.

Club: Played one year for Performance Lacrosse.

Personal: Son of Scott and Sharon Nystrom… chose Florida Tech for its engineering program and opportunity to play lacrosse… enjoys playing video games, camping and fishing… favorite sport is lacrosse and favorite athlete is Brian Spallina… admires men and women of armed forces because they make the ultimate sacrifice… favorite quote is “If you dream, you can do it.”
