2021 Spring: Appeared and started four matches where she registered 34.5 points accumulating 30 kills on 64 attempts for a .422 hitting percentage.  Defensively, Garcia recorded seven digs, two block solos, and five block assists. Earned her degree in Interdisciplinary Science. Upon graduation, she plans on applying to Physician Assistant schools in South Florida to pursue her career as a PA. During the waiting process, she will be working as a Medical Scribe under a physician specializing in neurosurgery at Baptist Health South Florida.

2019: Appeared in a team-high 31 matches and 102 games... Totaled 264 points, 17 aces, 65 digs, and 82 blocks... Posted 198 kills to go along with a 1.94 kills per set average... Finished the season ranked 24th in the Sunshine State Conference in total kills and 13th in total blocks... Recorded 22 games with 5 or more kills... Posted a season-high 16 kills against Florida Southern (Nov. 1)...

Club: Played for South Dade Volleyball Club for 3 years 

High School: Awarded 4 varsity letters in volleyball at Southwest Miami Senior High School

Personal: Daughter of Corbari and Leyanis Garcia... Has two siblings: Jesenia and Janelle... Chose Florida Tech because it is a strong academic school... Most admires her mother because she continues to bend over backwards for her entire family, she hopes to be half the woman she is... Post-grad goals include becoming a Physician Assistant.
