Jeff Langgle was brought on as a volunteer assistant coach for Florida Tech volleyball in the Spring of 2024.
In his first season with the Panthers, Langgle helped elevate the team to a 20-10 record and reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. In this same year, the Panthers went 14-6 in the SSC (Program Record) and saw two players be honored as All-Americans (Cordelia Kearns and Chiara Patelli).Â
Since 2012, Langgle has volunteered at the Volleyball Community Outreach at Park Avenue Baptist Church where he conducts free volleyball skills training three nights a week from February through July for any students who wish to train free of charge.
Before his time at Tech, Langgle spent time from 2019-2022 as the head volleyball coach at Space Coast High School. While there he coached the varsity team to the school's only five consecutive district championship games, three regional appearances, and one regional semifinal. He has the most wins, highest win percentage, and most wins in a season for any volleyball team in school history.
Langgle also spent the 2021 season as Space Coast's head beach volleyball coach, a program which he started, and was responsible for scheduling games, tournaments, and fundraising for all the team's equipment and uniforms while creating training and conditioning programs.
His credentials consist of a five-year coaching certificate with current training in heat illness prevention, sudden cardiac arrest, and concussion in sports.
