2012: Appeared in all 29 matches, 92 sets and recorded 18 starts…ranked first on team in kills with 240 averaging 2.61 kills per set…tallied a season-high of 20 kills on two occasions vs. Saint Leo (10/05) and vs. Florida Southern (11/09)…notched a season-high four blocks vs. Eckerd College (10/26).

2011: Recorded starts in all 30 appearances…second on team in kills with 276…averaged 2.71 kills per set…added 12 service aces and 62 digs on the season…recorded a season-high in kills with 24 against Nova Southeastern (11/01)…notched double-figure kill marks in 12 contests on the season…recorded two or more service aces in four different matches…added four block solos and 28 block assists.
 
Previous College: Played two years at Florida Memorial…tabbed MVP, Rookie of the Year and earned an academic award…in 2010, she ranked fourth in NAIA in service aces per game (0.76)…registered 124 kills, 85 assists and 37 service aces in 49 sets.

High School: Attended Ewald P. Meyer Lyceum in Paramaribo, Suriname.

Club: Played four years for Avanti…helped her team win junior and senior national championship.

Personal: Daughter of Lilian Valies…chose Florida Tech for its civil engineering program and for the opportunity to play volleyball…post-graduate goals are to play for Suriname’s national team…enjoys watching TV, surfing the internet, hanging out with friends, watching movies and going to the beach…favorite sport is volleyball…favorite saying is “Live, love, laugh.”
