WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Volleyball) – Florida Tech (6-19) was outmatched in its road bout with Sunshine State Conference provisional member Palm Beach Atlantic (25-3) on Thursday, as the Panthers dropped a 3-0 result to the 12th-ranked Sailfish with sets of 14-25, 19-25 and 20-25.
PBA hit .313 for the match with 44 kills and just nine attack errors, while the Panthers amassed 34 kills and 23 errors for just .089 hitting.
Kiayna O'Neal paced FIT with nine kills and an attack rate of .286.
Jenna Schaffer tallied eight kills and seven digs.
Olivia Hersey collected eight kills, eight digs and two total blocks.
Kiersten Rosa produced a double-double on 22 assists and 11 digs to go along with five kills.
Becca Bower picked up a team-high 18 digs and six assists.
Ally Rohn led all players with 14 kills in addition to 18 digs. Emma Ballantyne finished with eight kills on a match-high .500 hitting and six block assists. Molly Burkhardt dished out a match-high 33 assists and nine digs to go along with six total blocks, while Susie Forbes added 10 digs, four assists and two service aces.
