DAHLONEGA, Ga. (Baseball) - Florida Tech took its fourth loss of the season against North Georgia on Saturday. The Nighthawks managed to outscore the Panthers 6-1 at Bob Stein Stadium in Dahlonega, Georgia.
The game started out promising when the Panthers scored a quick run in the first inning; but unfortunately were held scoreless after that.
Ty Cohen picked up his first loss of the season against the Nighthawks. Cohen pitched six innings and tallied six strikeouts against the 27 batters he faced.
Defensively,
Grant McKown led the Panthers with nine put outs at first base. Not far behind was
Ryan Sinzenich with eight put outs from behind the plate. The Panthers collectively tallied 24 put outs total throughout the day.
