Tereza Sedlakova spent her time representing her home country of Slovakia on the hardwood at the 2017 Under-20 European Championships in Eilat, Israel.
A rising junior at Florida Tech, Sedlakova and her Slovakian National Team recently had a successful stint at the Euro Championship as they finished second overall, falling to Germany 60-54 in the tournament final on July 16.
The Pezinok, Slovakia product averaged 5.1 points and four rebounds over the seven games. Her best performance was a 13-point outing in the team's 56-42 victory over Germany in the group phase portion of the tournament.
Sedlakova has been a member of the Slovakian National Team since 2013 and competed for the U-16, U-17, U-18 and U-20 squads at both the European Championship and FIBA World Championship over the past four years.
She had a strong sophomore campaign for head coach
John Reynolds' squad in 2016-17. Sedlakova finished second on the team in rebounding at five boards a night, while her 7.1 points per game average was fourth best on the team. She also racked up 20 steals, 14 blocks and 14 assists during the season.
