COLUMBUS, Ga. - Due to poor weather conditions, all games at the Southern Softball Showdown have been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
After today's cancelations, the Panthers leave Georgia with a 1-1 record. To open the tournament, their first win was over No. 18 ranked Valdosta State, where they beat the Blazers 4-1, but dropped to Columbus State in Game 2, 7-1.
Next, the Panthers will compete in the ASU George McCorkle Challenge, where they will first take on Adams State in the opening game on Friday, Feb. 9 at 10:30 a.m., followed by No. 2 Angelo State at 3:15 p.m. ET!
