DENTON, TX. (Volleyball)- Concluding the Pioneer Invitational, Florida Tech (1-3) fought hard all day, but were unable to pull through with a win. In the first match, the Panthers dropped the first two sets, but in the third set they came back with an impressive win over Northwood. However, it was not enough to overcome the deficit. In match two, the Panthers continued their struggle falling to Texas Women's University in three straight sets.
In the first match, the Panthers collected a total of 39 kills, five service aces, 35 assists and 69 digs. In the evening outing, Florida Tech ended the game with six blocks topping Northwood. During match two, Florida Tech fought hard but was unable to find a rhythm.

Kyra Atkinson had 17 digs and senior
Kiersten Rosa had 30 assists and 13 digs. In match two, the team recorded a total of 22 kills, 20 assists and 46 digs.

Kiersten Rosa concluded the night with seven kills and nine assists.
Next up, the Crimson and Gray will be back on the court Aug. 31 against Wilmington University at Winter Park, Fla. The match is set for 11:00 a.m. ET.
