Melbourne, Fla. (Volleyball) – On Tuesday night, the Panthers went up against the Eagles for another conference match. During the game, Florida Tech (4-11, SSC 1-6) was not able to get a victory in three sets of play despite having close matches in the first two sets against Embry-Riddle (10-4, SSC 4-3).

The Panthers concluded the match with a collected 36 kills, 32 assists and 37 digs. 

Senior Kelly Germain, registered a total of nine kills on 24 attempts for a hitting percentage of .208. In addition, Kiersten Rosa registered a total of nine kills on 21 attempts for a hitting percentage of .429. Rosa also collected 23 assists and six digs to conclude the match.

Leading the Panthers defensively was senior Becca Bower who registered a total of 14 digs and senior Heather Bowersox concluded the match with six kills, two serve aces and two blocks.


Next up, the Crimson and Gray will be back at home on Sep.28 to face Eckerd College at Melbourne, Fla. The match is set for 7:00 p.m. ET.
