Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Florida Tech Victorious Against Saint Leo

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Florida Tech men's soccer took to the road as for a bout against Sunshine State Conference foe Saint Leo. It was a close match but in the end the Panthers walked off the pitch with a 2-1 victory.

Luca Campanini added to his stellar attacking season as he netted his fifth goal of the young season to put the Panthers up 1-0. However, the Lions knotted it up at one apiece in the 36th minute when they buried a header.

But less than two minutes later, a Morgan Gauthier cross into the box found the back of the net courtesy of Per Henrik Nag's header. This gave the Crimson and Gray a 2-1 lead after the first 45 minutes of action.

The second half saw both teams keep their attacking prowess going as they began trading shots almost immediately. But the pace would slow down as the two back lines started to limit their attacking counterparts' changes. This played in favor of Florida Tech as neither team allowed another goal in the match so the men walked away with the win.

The Panthers' celebration will be short lived as they gear up for a Wednesday night showdown with Florida Southern in Lakeland, Florida.
