Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – On Saturday afternoon, the Panthers went on the road to face the Sharks. Florida Tech came up short as the men were only able to tallied 93 points and the women 70 points for a Sharks victory.
Women:
The Panthers earned first place in the 100 backstroke recording a time of 1:05.87 by
Carter Juskevich.
In the 200 backstroke,
Savannah Brennan dominated the competition registering a time of 2:22.87 earning first place. Brennan also took second in the 200 IM with a time of 2:10.47.
In the 200 free,
Valentina Carvajal and
Nicole Rautemberg were able to take second and third place with times of 1:55.75 and 1:56.46. Rautemberg finished second in the 500 free with a time of 5:11.91.
Kennedy Nolan swam a time of 2:11.00 in the 200 backstroke earning third place against the Sharks.
In the 100 fly,
Emma Oleniczak and
Mikaela Barger had second and third place finishes with times of 1:00.84 and 1:01.45.
Men:
In the second event of the day, the Panthers earned second place in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:30.00. The relay was made up of Emanuele Rossi, Dain Rust, Adi Davidov and Filip Dujmic.
Rossi placed first in the 100 backstroke with a time of 52.54 defeating his opponents by a full second. He also earned second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:53.90.
Victor Rocha Furtado continues to dominate has he earned another first place finish in the 100 fly with a time of 49.44.
The man earned a victory over the Sharks in the 200 free relay registering a time of 1:23.89. The relay was swam by Dujmic, Davidov, Rossi and Furtado.
