MELBOURNE, Fla. - On Saturday afternoon, Florida Tech volleyball faced Saint Leo in SSC action at the Clemente Center. The Panthers fought hard but were no match for the Lions who came out with a 3-1 win.

Tech collected 46 kills and a team attacking rate of .231. The Panthers also registered 45 assists, four service aces, seven blocks and 76 digs on the afternoon match. 

Senior Sheila Villagrasa was solid once again in the setter role, picking up her tenth double-double of the season. She collected 41 assists and 14 digs during the match. 

Three Panther attackers tallied double-digit kills in the match, led by Audrey Keenan who collected 11. Keenan leads the Panthers in kills with 160 on the season. 

Jocelyn Garcia was the most efficient attacker for the Panthers, tallying 10 kills on a .500 attacking rate. 

Elena Ciulli had 10 kills in the match with a block assist. 

Florida Tech battled the Lions in each set playing competitive volleyball, but unfortunately, the Panthers were not able to earn the win falling in four sets of play. 

Tech will head to the GSC-SSC Regional Crossover which takes place Oct. 18-19 in Hoover, Alabama.
