Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Florida Tech Breeze Past Saint Leo

Men's soccer keeps its unbeaten streak alive with a 3-0 win over the Lions

MELBOURNE, Fla. – No. 7 men's soccer continued its amazing form as they drop Saint Leo, 3-0, to move to 8-0-1 overall and 5-0-1 in Sunshine State Conference matches.

Per Henrik Nag was a huge piece of the Panthers attack as he scored his third and fourth goal of the season. Ellis Hudson also found the back of the net which doubled up his season total. Guillermo Segovia was a passing magician as he tallied an assist on all three goals.

Jason Fesquet and Aymerick Berald-Catelo combined for the team's sixth shutout of the season as the Panther defense continues to dominate its competition.

The Panthers controlled this game from beginning to end as the team outshot the Lions 16-4 and 10-1 in shots on goals. This translated to the scoreline as Tech found the back of the net three times all of which came in the first half.

Nag broke the scoreless tie about 25 minutes into the contest thanks to a dual assist from Campanini and Segovia. The Crimson and Gray did not have to wait long to power another one past Saint Leo's keeper as Hudson scored in the 29th minute. The final goal of the night came about eight minutes later as Nag again beat Wessel Berenschot.

Despite a continued Panther attack the 3-0 score held over the final 63 minutes of play and Florida Tech walked out of Rick Stottler Field with the win.

Tech hits the road for the first time in two weeks as the men head to Winter Park, Florida, for a match with Rollins. This SSC showdown is set for Wednesday, Oct. 23, and will begin at 7 p.m. ET.
