MELBOURNE, FLA. - Florida Tech volleyball went head to head with Embry-Riddle on homecoming night. The Panthers fought hard in each set but were unable to find a consistent rhythm on offense.
Tech ended the night with 33 kills, 33 assists, five services aces, four blocks, and 64 digs.
Sheila Villagrasa collected 27 assists with 14 digs on the match. In the last nine matches for the Panthers, Villagrasa has collected a double-double in eight of them. The Panther setter now ranks 6th in assists (577) and 9th in digs (254) in the Sunshine State Conference. The senior also collected three kills on eight attempts for a .375 attacking rate.
Audrey Keenan collected 10 kills in three sets of play for the Panthers. She did it on 40 attempts for an attacking rate of .175. The junior completed her double-double adding 12 digs to her credit during the match. Keenan ranks 11th in kills (201) and 17th in digs (201) in the SSC.
Tania Kottke and Jocelyn Garcia registered five kills each for Florida Tech. Kottke also had three services aces and eight digs.
Freshman Kayla Mastin continues to show her skills collecting six kills and a block on the match

The Crimson and Gray will head to Fort Lauderdale for the last time this season as they take on Nova University. The match is scheduled for Friday, October 25 at 7 p.m.
