Melbourne, Fla. - Florida Tech volleyball hosted Palm Beach Atlantic on community day at the Clemente Center.
The Panthers recorded 42 kills, 38 assists, nine blocks and 75 digs during four sets.
First Set
The Panthers separated themselves after three kills in a row by
Elena Ciulli giving the Panthers a 14-7 lead. PBA was able to rally back to make it a one point game later in the set. However, a pair of kills by Ciulli and one by
Jocelyn Garcia was the difference in the game as Tech takes the first set 25-23.
Second Set
Florida Tech was in a back and forth battle to start. A kill by
Audrey Keenan helped the Panthers tie it up at 10 points apiece. Down 15-12 the Panthers went on a 6-1 run taking the lead, capped by a service ace by
Kyra Atkinson. Tech tied it again 22-22, but back-to-back Sailfish kills was the difference in the set as the Panther fell 25-22.
Third Set
Coming off a heartbreaking loss in the previous set, Tech started the set with a 11-5 run lead, capped by an impressive six kills by
Audrey Keenan. Later in the set, Tech tied it up at 18 points apiece, but a Sailfish 7-0 run point gave PBA a 2-1 set advantage.
Keenan recorded eight kills in the set for the Panthers.
Set Four
Florida Tech took a 11-10 point lead by another Keenan kill, but unfortunately the Panther were not able to hold on as PBA takes the set and the match 25-17.

The Crimson and Gray take on Tampa on Friday, October 11th at the Clemente Center. The match is set to start at 7 p.m.
