Melbourne, Fla. - On Saturday morning, the Panthers began the 2019-20 season at home against Nova Southeastern.
In the first event of the season, the women's team participated in the 200 medley relay. The relay was form by Gabi Karosa,
Carter Juskevich,
Nicole Rautemberg and Shaelyn Rutta in which they finished third with a time of 1:50.32.
NCAA qualifier
Savannah Brennan started her season with a win in the 1000 free with a time of 10:30.42. Brennan also earned second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:07.64.
Rautemberg also started her season with a first place finish in the 200 free (1:54.66). Rautemberg placed second in the 100 free with a time of 53.80.
Mikaela Barger finished third in the 50 free recording a 25.68 time.
Kennedy Nolan had a third place finish in the 200 IM with a time of 2:14.13. Nolan had another good performance in the 100 fly placing second (59.93).
Karosa's second event came in the 100 back where she finished second with a time of 1:01.89.
In the 200 free relay, Tech finished third (1:42.94) with a combine swim from Nolan,
Brianna Forte, Juskevich and Brennan.

The Panthers head to Fort Lauderdale for the Shark Invitational at Nova. The meet run through Friday, October 11-12th.
