Daytona Beach, Fla. - On March 22, the Panthers faced the Eagles in game one of a three game series. Florida Tech was unable to earn a victory against Embry-Riddle as they were defeated (13-5).
Florida Tech were hold to nine hits on the night with five RBI's and three extra base hits.
On the mound for the Panthers was
Andrew Marzheuser who recorded 5.1 innings of work. The right hander did all he could to keep the Panthers in the game has he recorded five strikeouts on the no decision.
Offensively,
Jacob Buser recorded two hits on four at bats with two double and four RBI's. Buser recorded his 34 RBI's of the season and now ranks second in the Sunshine State Conference. With this performance his batting average improves to .372 ranking 10th in the SSC. The infielder also recorded his 10th double of the season and now leads the SSC.
Rodnie Bernard had a good day at the plate going 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. The right hander now ranks second in batting average with this performance (.389). Also, Bernard picked up his 37 hit of the season tying for first in the SSC.
The Panthers will be back tomorrow for game two of the series at 3 p.m.
