Austin, Texas - On March 26, the 2018-2019 Google Cloud All-America Division II Men's Track/Cross Country teams were released.
Matthew Kraska was named First Team earning a 4.00 in Biomedical Engineering. These teams are selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2018-19 Division II Academic All-America® teams program.
This year 17 CoSIDA Academic All-America® Division II men's track/cross country first team members hold a composite 3.89 GPA.
In cross country, Kraska in the 8k race at the Disney Classic marked his best time of the season (28:48.92). In distance track, at the Spring Brake Invitational at UNF Kraska achieved his best time of the season in the 5000 meter run (17:06.96).
