MELBOURNE, Fla. — Florida Tech Cross Country head coach Dylan Anderson has announced the Panthers' 2026 schedule, setting up a competitive autumn slate that features key regional invites and postseason championship stops in his first season.
The Panthers will open the campaign on Friday, September 5, in Lakeland, Florida, at Uncle Nick's Swan City Bagel Run, hosted by Florida Southern. Florida Tech will then make the short trip north to Daytona Beach on Saturday, September 19, to compete in the Embry-Riddle Cross Country Classic.
In October, the program hits the road for major out-of-state tests. On Saturday, October 10, the Panthers travel to Romeoville, Illinois, for the Lewis Crossover. Two weeks later, on Saturday, October 24, they will compete at the UAH Chargers XC Invitational in Huntsville, Alabama, serving as a key preview for potential postseason action.
Postseason competition officially kicks off on Saturday, November 7, as the Panthers return to Lakeland for the Sunshine State Conference Championship. Qualifying runners will head back to Huntsville on Saturday, November 21, for the NCAA South Region Championship, hosted by UAH. The season will culminate at the NCAA Division II National Championship on Saturday, December 5, hosted by the MIAA in Lawrence, Kansas.
