Fort Lauderdale, Fla. - Florida Tech volleyball concluded the last tournament of the season at the Shark Invitational.
The Panthers fought Wayne State College and Grand Valley State to end the tournament.
Defensively,
Sheila Villagrasa collected 42 assists and 20 digs and five blocks on the day. The senior also registered eight kills for the Crimson and Gray.
Senior
Kyra Atkinson added 39 digs to her ledger in today's doubleheader. Atkinson was named All-Tournament Team with her performance throughout the tournament.
Game One | Florida Tech vs Wayne State College
Florida Tech collected 26 kills, 24 assists, three serve aces, 10 blocks, and 77 digs on the match.
Maddalena Fairchild was the leader in kills for the Panthers as she collected eight on the match.
Atkinson had a good game defensively collecting 25 digs for the Crimson and Gray.
Game Two | Florida Tech vs Gran Valley State
During the course of the match, the Panthers managed to collect 26 kills, 26 assists, 12 blocks, and 48 digs.
Elena Ciulli was the Panthers most efficient attacker with six kills and a .231 attacking rate.
Audrey Keenan had nine kills and a hitting percentage of .194. The senior also added five digs to her credit.
Atkinson played sound defense for the Panthers collecting 14 digs.
