MELBOURNE, Fla. - Head Coach Greg Berkemeier released Florida Tech's 2021 baseball schedule. The Panthers are scheduled to participate in 30 regular-season games, of which 15 are home events.
Tech will open the 2021 season with a three-game series against Lynn University. The Crimson and Gray will travel to Boca Raton on Thursday, March 4th for game one of the series and will finish the series with a doubleheader on Saturday, March 6th at Andy Seminick-Les Hall Field. The Panthers will then head to Winter Park, Fla. to face Rollins on Wednesday, March 10th at 5 p.m.
Florida Tech will then host three Sunshine State Conference powerhouse teams, Nova Southeastern (March 13), #2 Tampa (March 18), and #7 Barry (March 25).
The Panthers will end the month of March traveling to West Palm Beach to face Palm Beach Atlantic (March 31) for a regional game. Tech will then head home to have one more regional game against Rollins (April 7) before ending with 14 straight SSC games.
Florida Tech will end the 2021 regular season with Florida Southern (April 8/10), Saint Leo (April 14-17), Rollins (21-23), PBA (April 30), and PBA (May 2/6).
The 2021 SSC Baseball Preseason Coaches Poll was released on Wednesday afternoon in which Florida Tech was projected to finish tied for 8th. With the health and safety of student-athletes, coaches, and staff in mind, there will be no fans permitted at Florida Tech baseball games at this time. Additionally, there will be no spectators allowed at home games by other Sunshine State Conference institutions.
