WINTER PARK, Fla. – For the first time this Spring, Florida Tech men's soccer hit the road as they headed over to Rollins for another friendly. The Panthers ended up falling to the Tars, 2-1, in the Barker Family Stadium.
Guillermo Segovia grabbed his third goal of the Spring as he was the lone Panther that found the back of the net.
Rollins opened the game on the attack as they pushed the pace and this lead to them grabbing the first goal of the game in the 26
th minute. However, five minutes later Segovia tied it back up at 1-1 with a shot from the penalty area. Unfortunately, the tie did not last long as a 43
rd minute Tars goal made it 2-1 as the teams went off the field for halftime.
The second half was a defensive showdown as neither team netted a goal and neither really had a clear shot on goal.
Florida Tech is back in action Friday, March 26, for their final home contest of Spring. This game starts at 6 p.m. ET at Rick Stottler Field.
