Tampa, Fla.- Florida Tech men's soccer traveled to Tampa in a midweek conference matchup. The two conference rivals battled it out for 90 minutes looking for that game winning goal, but the score would stay knotted at one a piece.

STATS OF THE MATCH: 

• Both teams put up an event fight in the first half. 
• The Spartans were able to get on the board first the 30^th minute. 
• Nico Gamio found Sean Quinn right in front of the net and the Spartans led 1-0. 
• At halftime, Tampa led 1-0. 
• In the second half, Tech was looking for the equalizer while the Spartans were looking to build their lead. 
• In the 68^th minute of play, the Panthers were awarded a penalty kick. 
• Julen Lafuente was able to successfully convert the penalty kick to put Tech on the board and tie things up at one a piece. 
• For the next 20 minutes both teams battled and tried to look for that game winning goal, but neither team was able to do so. 
• The Spartans outshot Tech 16-11. 
• Luis Tovar Romero, Sr. Recorded three saves on the night, while Tampa's Adam Forster recorded six saves.

• Florida Tech is now 16-35-8 all- time against Tampa.
