STATS OF GAME:
- After being kept off the scoreboard in the first two innings, the Panthers resumed their recent dominance at the plate by scoring two in the third, eight in the fourth, four in the fifth and two in the eighth.
- The Crimson and Gray's 16-run, 16-hit effort came with the benefit of just one extra-base hit.
- Four Panther starters recorded a multi-hit effort, led by Alec Eldridge's 4-for-5 game.
- Eldridge now has a six-game hitting streak.Â
- Josh Ford, in his second start of the season, went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored.Â
- Diego Garcia drove in four runs while Dylan Dohanos drove in three.Â
- After being hit by a pitch in the third inning, Sam Schner extended his on-base streak to 13Â consecutive games dating back to the end of the 2021 season. He also stole his fourth base of the season.Â
- Justin Lorenz earned his second win of the season by dealing six innings of one-hit shutout ball. Lorenz struck out six against just one walk over 75 pitches.Â
- The trio of Andres Tapia, Andres Rodriguez and Alex Carpenter preserved the shutout by tossing no-hit ball over the final three frames.Â
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- The Panthers now lead the all-time series with Bentley, 10-1, and have won seven consecutive matchups with the Falcons.Â
- The 95 runs that Tech has scored over the season's first seven games are the most by a Florida Tech team to start a season since the 1998 squad began their campaign by plating 97.
