STATS OF GAME:
- Barry gained an early three run lead in the first inning when Tabares singled to right field scoring Casteneda and Abreu, with Stella scoring on a wild pitch.Â
- Barry increased their lead to four with Eusebe's single through the left side, scoring Torres.
- The Panthers cut the four-run deficit in half in the bottom of the second, with Orduna walking in Dylan Owens, and Jakob Newton's Sacrifice Fly to left field plating Hayden Kimball.
- Florida Tech gained the lead for good in the bottom of the fourth when Paul Castillo's sac fly scored Newton to cap a three-run inning.
- Tech got two valuable insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth, thanks to Jack Nagy's two-run single to center.
- Danny Vassallo helped key the rally by pitching six scoreless innings in relief of starter Boris Villa. Vassallo struck out seven and walked none, while tossing 71 pitches.
- Andres Rodriguez dealt two shutout innings to earn the save.Â
- Four Panthers had multi-hit efforts with Jack Nagy's three RBI leading the charge.
