STATS OF GAME:
- Paul Castillo hit a RBI single up the middle in the top of the first, plating Dylan Dohanos, to give the Panthers the first run of the game.
- The Saints answered in the bottom of the first when Myles Colangelo hit a homerun to left field, tying the game 1-1.
- Sam Schner hit a RBI single to center field in the top of the second, scoring Jack Nagy, giving the Panthers a 2-1 lead.
- Dohanos hit a single to third base, advancing Schner to third, plating Diego Garcia in the process.
- Matthew Burke doubled to left center field in the bottom of the third, allowing Donovan Garcia to score and cut the Panther lead 3-2.
- Mason Gray hit a sacrifice fly to left center, scoring Burke, and tying the game for the Saints 3-3.
- Zach Thomas singled through the right side, plating Colangelo, giving the Saints a 4-3 lead.
- Dohanos singled through the left side in the top of the fourth, allowing Garcia to score, and tie the game 4-4.
- Jack Nagy reached on a fielder's choice in the top of the fifth, advancing Alec Eldridge to second, advancing Dylan Owens to third. Owens would then score on a muffed throw by the third baseman, giving the Panthers a 5-4 lead.
- Dohanos hit a 2 RBI single up the middle, scoring both Eldridge and Owens, extending the Panthers lead 7-4.
- The Saints would answer again the bottom of the fifth when Colangelo hit his second home run of the game, scoring Gray in the process, cutting the Panther lead 7-6.
- Alec Eldridge doubled to right field in the top of the eighth, advancing Owens to third, and scoring Jakob Newton.
- Jack Nagy tripled down the right field line, allowing Eldridge and Owens to score, extending the Panthers lead 10-6.
- The Saints final run came in the bottom of the eighth when Newland reached on a fielder's choice, scoring Warde.
- Aiden Pryzgoda pitched three and one-third innings, allowing seven hits, four runs, and threw 65 pitches.
- Danny Vassallo pitched two and two-third innings, allowing three hits, two runs, and struck out three Saints, earning the win.
- Jason Englert pitched one perfect inning where he struck out one Saint and threw nine pitches.
- Andres Rodriguez pitched one inning, allowing two hits, one run, and struck out two.
- Alex Carpenter closed the game for the Panthers, allowing one hit, no runs, and struck out one, earning the save.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- This was the first matchup between Florida Tech and Flagler in St. Augustine since March 6, 2019. The Panthers now lead the all-time series 53-29.
- Dylan Dohanos extended his hitting streak to 10 with his double to left center in the top of the first.
- Jack Nagy's triple in the top of the eighth set a new team record for triples in a season, totaling 21.
- Alex Carpenter recorded his 13th save tonight, which ties him with Ryan Allain (2016-19) for fifth in program history.
