STATS OF GAME:
- Brett Parrish tripled down the right field line in the top of the fourth, allowing Jakob Newton to score, which gave the Panthers the first run of the game.
- Alec Eldridge hit a RBI single up the middle, plating Parrish in the process, extending the Panther lead 2-0
- Joey Rubin hit a RBI single to center field in the bottom of the fifth, scoring Bullock.
- Chase Achuff singled to Paul Castillo, plating Timothy Mira, tying the game 2-2.
- Parker Smith singled to left field in the bottom of the sixth, allowing Nick Santucci to score and give the Tars a 3-2 lead.
- Kyle Bullock hit a two-run homerun to left field, extending the Tars lead 5-2.
- Immediately following Bullock's homerun, Mira hit a solo homerun to left field, extending the Tars lead 6-2.
- Noah Steckley pitched four and two-third innings, allowing two hits, two runs, while throwing 69 pitches.
- Jason Englert pitched one-third of an inning, allowing one hit, while throwing 13 pitches across three batters.
- Aiden Pryzgoda pitched two-thirds of an inning, allowing four hits, four runs, and struck out one.
- Andrew Dunham pitched two innings, allowing three hits, no runs, and struck out two Tars.
- Zach Rodgers closed the game for the Panthers, allowing no hits, no runs, throwing two pitches to one batter.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- This was the first series between Florida Tech and Rollins since April 23, 2021. The Tars still lead the all-time series 81-72-1.
- Dylan Dohanos extended his hitting streak to eight with his single in the top of the seventh.
