STATS OF GAME:
- The first run of the game wouldn't come until the bottom of the fourth, when Brandon Kruzinski singled to right field and advanced to second on an error, scoring Peter Avino, to give Lynn a 1-0 lead.
- Kruzinksi advanced to third on a wild pitch, which allowed Pedro Martinez to score, extending the Knights lead 2-0.
- Jakob Newton hit a sacrifice fly to left field in the top of the fifth, plating Dylan Dohanos to give the Panthers their first run of the game.
- Sam Schner grounded out to first base in the top of the sixth, which gave Luca Wentzel an opportunity to score, allowing the Panthers to tie the game 2-2.
- Due to inclement weather, Game Two was suspended, and resumed at 10:00 AM.
- Game Two continued with a scoreless eighth and ninth inning, allowing the Panthers to push the game into extra innings.
- The Panthers fell in the bottom of the 10th when Sanabria hit a walk off single to right field, scoring Devito.
- Justin Lorenz pitched one and one-third inning, allowing one hit, no runs, and threw 19 pitches.
- Noah Steckley pitched two and two-third innings, allowing three hits, two runs, and struck out three Knights.
- Andres Rodriguez pitched three innings, allowing four hits, no runs, and struck out one.
- Alex Carpenter pitched two and two-third innings, allowing four hits, one run, and struck out one.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- This was the first series between Florida Tech and Lynn since March 4, 2021. The all-time series is now tied, 48-48.
- Dylan Dohanos extended his hitting streak to 13 with both of his singles in game one and two.
- Alec Eldridge extended his hitting streak to 12 with his single to third base in the top of the second in game two.
