FIRST QUARTER:
- Tampa jumped out in front early on to take a 1-0 lead just 51 seconds into the game.
- Collin Stewart and Griffin Martin scored unassisted goals later in the first quarter to give Tech a 2-1 advantage with 4:16 to go.
- Spartans tallied three unanswered goals over a 2:15 span to take a 4-2 lead with 1:24 left in the frame.
SECOND QUARTER:
- It was a defensive stalemate for much of the second quarter until Tampa tallied consecutive goals to increase its lead to 6-2 with 2:32 remaining in the half.
- Panthers scored twice in the final 1:12 of the first half to cut the margin to 6-4 at the break. Zach Rozgonyi fed Justin Williams for a man-up goal to trim the deficit to three. Rozgonyi then scored his lone goal of the game on an unassisted effort with 45 seconds left.
THIRD QUARTER:
- Tampa extended its advantage to 7-4 with 4:25 to go in the third quarter.
- Nate Deplancke scored on a high bouncer from the wing less than a minute later to bring the margin back to two.
- Stewart tallied his second goal of the game on a fastbreak off an assist from Brennan Banks to make it a one-goal game with 1:07 left in the quarter.
FOURTH QUARTER:
- Spartans opened the fourth quarter scoring with four unanswered goals to increase their lead to 11-6 with 4:28 remaining.
- Stewart scored his third of the day to cut the margin to 11-7 with 2:15 left.
- Jakob Terpak then found the back of the net off a feed from Andrew Walenty to make it a three-goal game with 1:44 left.
- Tampa would run the remaining time on the clock and handed Florida Tech its first SSC loss of the season.

- Tampa ended with more shots (44-40), shots on goal (27-24) and ground balls (37-32).
- Spartans won 13-23 faceoffs compared to 10-23 for Tech.
- Both teams turned the ball over 14 times in the contest.
- Tampa was 15-17 on clear attempts while Florida Tech was 16-18.
- Panthers went 1-7 on the man-up while holding the Spartans to 0-6 on their extra-man opportunities.
