FIRST QUARTER:
- PBA controlled the opening 10 minutes of the contest as the Sailfish jumped out to a 7-1 lead. Bennett Duffy provided Tech's lone goal during the Sailfish run off an assist from Griffin Bowie, which tied the game at 1-1 with 12:13 to go.
- Goals by Justin Williams and Austin Engeler ended PBA's run and cut the Panthers' deficit to 7-3 with 2:47 left in the first.
SECOND QUARTER:
- Tech scored the only two goals of the second quarter to decrease the margin to 7-5 at halftime.
- Patrick Stewart scored his first of the day off an assist from Sam Sidari to make the score 7-4 with 12:50 remaining.
- Jakob Terpak beat his defender to the middle of the field and scored to make it a two-goal deficit with 5:10 left before halftime.
THIRD QUARTER:
- PBA scored first after halftime to increase its lead to 8-5 at the 12:35 mark of the third.
- The Stewart Brothers struck back as Pat scored off an assist from his younger brother, Collin, to bring the margin to 8-6 with 10:37 to go.
- Zach Rozgonyi made it a one-goal game off an assist from Williams with 8:03 left.
- Sailfish scored two more time in the third to push their advantage to 10-7 with 1:34 remaining in the quarter.
FOURTH QUARTER:
- Panthers opened the fourth on a six-goal run to take the game over. The run began after a Sailfish player was penalized with an illegal stick before the quarter started that awarded Tech with a three-minute man advantage.
- Collin Stewart tallied his first of the game during the man-up off a feed from Williams to cut the margin to 10-8 with 14:20 left
- One minute later, Rozgonyi picked up the rebound off his own shot and scored one-on-one against the PBA keeper to draw the Panthers to within one, 10-9, with 13:20 remaining.
- Rozgonyi kept it going with back-to-back goals to tie the game with 9:37 to go, off an assist from Terpak, and then hand the Panthers their first lead of the day, 11-10, on a feed from C. Stewart with 5:44 left.
- Terpak scored his second of the game 36 seconds later off an assist from Sam Sidari to extend the Panthers' lead to 12-10.
- Patrick Stewart then completed his hat trick off a feed from Williams with 4:25 to go to make it a 13-10 game.
- PBA eventually broke through for its first goal of the fourth quarter, but it was too-little, too-late as the Panthers held on for the 13-11 victory.
NOTABLE PANTHERS:
- Zach Rozgonyi scored 4 goals on 14 shots to go along with 5 ground balls and 2 caused turnovers.
- Justin Williams finished with 4 points, on a goal and 3 assists, 3 ground balls, and 2 caused turnovers.
- Patrick Stewart tallied his first career hat trick on just 3 shots to go along with 2 caused turnovers and 1 ground ball.
- Jakob Terpak added 2 goals and 1 assist.
- Collin Stewart recorded a goal and 2 assists in addition to 3 ground balls.
- Sam Balch collected 5 caused turnovers and 6 ground balls.
- Austin Engeler scored a goal and picked up 4 ground balls.
- John Hulsman made 12 saves while facing 37 shots to improve his season record to 8-4.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Florida Tech finished with an edge in shots (57-37), shots on goal (26-23) and caused turnovers (18-8).
- Panthers were 2-3 on man-up tries while limiting PBA to 0-3.
