WINTER PARK, FLA.- Florida Tech concluded their appearance at the Rollins College Invitational on Saturday by sweeping their two matches against Spring Hill and the University of Charleston in three and four games respectively.

GAME ONE:
Final: Florida Tech 3, Spring Hill 0
Records: Florida Tech (4-3, 0-0 SSC), Spring Hill (2-4, 0-0 SIAC)
Location: Harold & Ted Alfond Sports Center | Winter Park, Fla.
STATS OF THE MATCH:
- The first set was a very close contest with neither team ever having a lead of larger than three points.
- That lead would belong to Spring Hill at 18-15 and 22-19 but the Panthers still managed to close the set on a 10-5 run.
- Set two saw Tech race out to a 9-3 lead before a 12-5 stretch by the Badgers saw Spring Hill lead, 15-14.
- The two teams traded points back and forth from there and with the affair knotted at 25, the Panthers used a Badger attack error and a Katie Erdmann kill to earn the win.
- The Crimson and Gray appeared to be pulling away in the third set, having leads of 15-9 and 21-16. This time, Spring Hill would rally to take a 24-22 lead and was serving for set point.
- However, Victoria Bowrosen would record four straight kills to seal the sweep. Each of the kills was assisted by Kenzie Delacher.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Bowrosen and Erdmann each recorded a game-high 16 kills.
- Kari Bogen recorded a career-high 34 digs in defense. This total is the second highest by a Panther since 2014, matching the mark that Becca Bower tallied on October 15, 2016, against Lee.
- This was the second all-time meeting between the teams and the first since a neutral site meeting in Pensacola on September 7, 2019, in which the Badgers won in straight sets.

Final: Florida Tech 3, Charleston 1
Records: Florida Tech (5-3, 0-0 SSC), Charleston (6-2, 0-0 MEC)

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- Tech played from behind nearly the entire first set, having trailed 11-4 and 20-13, respectively.
- The Panthers would close the frame with a 14-5 run, including the final three points after facing set point at 25-26. Consecutive kills from Lexi Lueger set up by Kenzie Delacher clinched the set.
- That momentum carried over into the second set as the Crimson and Gray started with an 8-3 lead.
- Multiple Golden Eagle rallies brought the set to a 23-23 standstill, where a Bowrosen kill and a Charleston error gave Florida Tech their eighth consecutive victorious set dating back to Friday.
- It appeared the third set was going to be another hotly contested affair when Tech closed the margin to 8-6 but Charleston erased any doubt by going on a 17-9 sprint to close the frame.
- The Panthers did not play with their food in the fourth set, opening with a 10-3 run and cruising from there to cap a successful weekend.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
- The victory ensures Florida Tech of their highest win total in a season since 2018. That season also saw their last three-game winning streak, October 20-26, before this current one.
- Katie Erdmann recorded a game-high 20 kills. It's the fifth time in Erdmann's Florida Tech career that she has recorded at least 20 kills in a game.
- Kenzie Delacher's tally of 46 assists against Charleston gave her a total of 88 on the day and 148 for the tournament. Her 3 aces in this game led Tech.
- Bogen recorded another 24 digs in the second game of the day. She finished with 84 total digs for the tournament.
- This was Tech's first ever meeting with the Golden Eagles.
- The combined 2021 record of the Panthers' opponents was 52-17.
