MELBOURNE, Fla. - Looking for its third win in a row, Florida Tech hosted Flagler for a nonconference game. The Panthers found themselves down for the most of the game, but a ferocious rally in the ninth inning saw them defeat the Saints.

STATS OF GAME:
- Flagler took hold of the game in the second inning using four hits and three walks to score five runs.
- Roman Samson got Tech on the board in the second inning with an RBI sacrifice fly to center field that scored Brett Parrish.
- The Panthers kept chopping away in the third inning as Alec Eldridge scored Gabe Garrett with an RBI single to right field.
- Back-to-back RBI singles to right field by Jason Blackstone and Eldridge cut the lead to one run in the fifth inning.
- Later in the fifth inning, Tech tied the game as Parrish drove in Blackstone on an infield error.
- Jaiden Warde led off the seventh inning for the Saints with a solo home run to left field.
- An RBI double to left field from Griffin Garcia and an RBI single to right field by Mason Gray extended Flagler's lead to 8-5 in the seventh inning.
- In the ninth inning, the Panthers tied the game on a RBI double down the left field line by Blackstone and a 2-RBI double off the right field wall by Parrish.
- With two outs in the ninth inning, Samson ended the game with a 3-run walk-off home run to left field.
- The Panthers used six pitchers with RHP Ethan Stephens picking up the win after pitching a scoreless ninth inning with one strikeout.
- In the middle of the game, RHP Aiden Beechy threw 2.1 hitless innings for Tech with two walks and a strikeout.
- RHP Danny Vassallo was also effective out of the bullpen working 1.1 innings while not giving up a run on three hits and one strikeout.
- Panther starting RHP Elijah McCormack pitched a scoreless first inning before the Saints got to him in the second inning. His final line was one inning pitched, with four earned runs on three hits, one walk, and one strikeout.
- RHP Justin Haskins who came in the game in the ninth inning took the loss for Flagler with a final line of six earned runs on three hits, two walks, and one strikeout.
- Florida Tech finished with 13 hits with Parrish leading the way with three while Eldridge, Blackstone, and Andrew Bourque each had two.
- Samson led the Panthers with four RBIs and Parrish was right behind him with three.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- The Panthers move to 54-29 all-time against Flagler.
- This is the third walk-off win against Flagler in the last five years.
- Tonight's home run for Samson, who transferred in from Washington and Jefferson College, is his first at Florida Tech.
- Blackstone has had two hits in each of the last three games which have all been wins for the Panthers.
