PENSACOLA, Fla. - Tech began a three-game series on the road at No. 20 West Florida. The Argonauts were too much for the Panthers in game one as they won 16-2.

STATS OF GAME:
- West Florida opened the game with four runs in the first inning which included a 3-run home run from Darrian McDowell.
- Brett Parrish got Tech on the board in the second inning with a solo home run to right-center field.
- The Argonauts hit another home run in the third inning, with Jadon Fryman hitting one to right-center field.
- Later in the frame, West Florida extended its lead to 6-1 with an RBI single to center field from Mike Scordo.
- The Panthers got their second and final run of the game in the fifth inning with an RBI single to left field by Hayden Kimball that scored Sam Schner.
- 10 runs for the Argonauts in the seventh inning blew open the game in their favor.
- As a team, the Panthers had five hits and Kimball led the team with two.
- RHP Dalton Neuschwander took the win for the Argonauts as he pitched seven innings, allowing two runs, only one that was earned, four hits, and four strikeouts.
- RHP Mitch Harding took the loss for Tech as his final line was four innings pitched while giving up six runs, five of which were earned. He gave up six hits and struck out three batters.
